ummmm lets see.....the Aztecs and Mayan an many other culture's where the first people living in mexico.They all died out because of a group of Columbian's that called them self mexica an the Spaniards came over to mexico an wipe out them out an claim the land as their own.......So if you know your history the mecian's of to day had stolen the land from the Aztecs and Mayan an other culture's.So mexico sold land that wasnt even their's.So mexican cant say this land is theirs when it wasnt their in the first place.if you dont believe me do some reseach an read up on it and you will find out im telling the truth...Thats how mexico got it name from the group that called them self mexica
