Acne.. Trying to get rid. HELP.?

I have been going to the dermotologist for months! now. And nothing has worked. So she has prescribed me antibiotics (apo -tetra). Does it work ? I heard antibiotics makes it better ? :l help. I rlly want to get a better skin.
