My boyfriend's friend want me to tell my boyfriend I love him?

It's a little more complex than the title. Here I'll explain. First realize MY BOYFRIEND AND I ARE 13! I was texing him one night then he tells me his friend wants to know if I love him, my boyfriend, or not. I told him I really didn't ever think of if I loved him or not and that I have no idea. He took the answer so I dismissed it. I really do love him. I just don't want to appear all up in his face and too clingy. Then the next night we were talking normal and then he tells me his friend isn't satisfied with that answer and his friend wants a yes or no answer. My boyfriend told me to think about it and tell him my answer. I was waiting for him to tell me he loves me before I told him I love him because I really don't want to sound clingy. What should I do? If I tell him I love him, the way I really feel, he might not say it back or he could breakup with me, but if I say I don't love him, a lie, there is a greater chance of him breaking up with me!!! Please I need help!! I have never been in this situation before!!
